Mike began his career in the technology sector in 1997 at Hewlett-Packard, where he worked as a software engineer.
Mike worked at Microsoft for 19 years, where he rose to the position of Vice President for Xbox Live, Xbox Game Pass, and Mixer.
He served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Platforms and Technology at Blizzard Entertainment. Later, he led the company as President. As President, he oversaw the development of key franchises and the studio’s operational management.
In August 2024, he moved into the fantasy sports sector.
In his current role at PrizePicks, Mike Ybarra is introducing new player formats and advancing the prediction industry.
His work has been recognized with awards for his contributions to digital entertainment, and his experience in large corporations helps scale the platform in the American market.
