Keith Barr is a Board Member at MGM Resorts International.
He graduated from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and began his career at Bristol Hotels and Resorts. Keith moved to InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) after its acquisition in 2000.
From 2009 to 2013, Barr served as the CEO of IHG in China. In July 2017, he became the Global CEO of IHG Hotels & Resorts. He led the company until July 2023, after which he remained in an advisory role until January 2024. Since 2020, he has also been a member of the Board of Directors at Yum! Brands.
In August 2024, Barr joined the Board of Directors of MGM Resorts International. In this position, he oversees international development and operational management. Since September 2024, he has also held the post of Senior Advisor at Sixth Street.
