Tilman Fertitta is a U.S. Ambassador, entrepreneur, and owner of an extensive portfolio of assets across the hospitality and sports industries.
Fertitta began his career in 1980 by heading Landry's, which he transformed over several decades into a global network of 600 locations. In 2005, he acquired the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino brand.
He has also been a prominent figure in the sports world as the owner of the NBA’s Houston Rockets since 2017.
Since May 2025, Fertitta has represented U.S. interests as the Ambassador to Italy and the Republic of San Marino.
