Lawrence Ho

Lawrence Ho is the Founder of Melco Resorts & Entertainment.

He began his career in the investment banking sector, working in the Asian derivatives groups at Jardine Fleming and at Citibank. In 2001, Ho took the lead of Melco International Development as Chairman and CEO.

In 2004, he founded Melco Resorts & Entertainment. Under his management, the company launched a number of integrated resorts. In 2017, a Melco unit secured an exclusive gaming license in Cyprus, which led to the start of construction for the City of Dreams Mediterranean complex. Ho also oversees the operations of the Mocha Clubs slot machine parlor chain and development projects in Japan, including a ski resort and spa complex.

In addition to leading Melco, Ho is the Chairman of the Canadian firm Maple Peak Investments. Previously, he headed Summit Ascent Holdings.

He is involved in the work of public organizations, holding the positions of Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of The Community Chest of Hong Kong charity fund and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
