Robin Bennett

Robin Bennett is the Head of Compliance at the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (WCGRB). Since 1997, he has progressed from a financial investigator to a department head, dedicating over two decades to regulating the gambling industry in the Western Cape province.

In his current role, Bennett is responsible for regulatory compliance, licensing, combating illegal iGaming, as well as measures to prevent money laundering (AML) and combating the financing of terrorism (CTF). He is actively involved in developing and implementing responsible iGaming initiatives, including educational campaigns and standards for operators.
